A glimps of things to come!
Keep an eye on this page! We will be posting pictures from all of our exciting regional events. There will pictures of our Regional Conventions, Minister's Conventions, Camps & Retreats, as well as some district and local events. So check back on a regular basis. We think you'll be pleased with what you find. - Bro. Doran, Site Administrator
The above pictures were taken in Columbia Falls, Montana--just one of the fine churches in our region. Yes, in case you are wondering, the craziness IS contagious!
Sedro-Woolley VLB's & future VLB's take to it the park for outreach and fun!
The weather was less than favorable for the kind of event that we had planned, and the turnout was less than we had hoped for, but our VLB's and future VLB's didn't let the chilly temperatures or the soggy sod keep them from making their own sunshine during several games of soccer and volleyball. We laughed, we played, we performed amazing acts of athleticism. And, yes, some of us lost! But the bottom line is we had fun and did some outreach. We considered it a warm-up for the better weather and better attendance we are certain to enjoy in the months ahead.
Special thanks to Bro. Justin Sweeney, our local and regional VLB coordinator, for serving up the food and fun during this event. Bro. Justin grilled hot dogs and hamburger--not of which were burned this time around. Everyone left full, if not a little wet and a tiny bit sore for the experience.
Snapshots of life and ministry in our region!
Below are some mock-up snapshots, to give you an idea of what you will see in the months to come, as we receive more pictures and reports relating to what's going on in our region.

Regional Fall Festival Adventure
Mock write-up: The Annual Shelbyville Fall Festival was held at Maple Park last week. The kids spent the day enjoying hay rides and playing in the pumpkin patch. Megan Kauffman loved getting her face painted and Lauren once again entered her famous apple pie into the charity pie auction. Megan helped her mom in the kitchen this year. Josh Davis was the official "Taste tester". All of the young people were a great help, and judging from the hard work our VLB's invested in this event, the future looks bright for our region. We ended up baking 25 pies and raised over $400 for the youth outreach fund, which will go toward providing more regional outreach functions in the region, to be headed by our Youth Life Teams.

Pet power holds great outreach potential!
Mock writeup:
The youth in our region have been volunteering at their local animal shelters. You may wonder what animal shelters have to do with expanding the work of the Church, but the proof is in the pudding. Our youth have made some great contacts with families in their ares and are continuing to follow up with them through cards, letters and invitations to local functions. It just goes to show that a little creativity can go a long way when it comes to outreach!

Donations abound in surprising places!
Mock write-up:
Many businesses in our area have been donating goods to our VLB and other regional events. Don't pass up an opportunity to receive a blessing and to be a blessing in return. Have your pastor print up an official letterhead for the church, requesting donations. You'll be surprised at the number of businesses who are willing to help!

Making Music
Mock write-up:
Lots of young people in our region exhibit a great deal of talent or motivation to become skilled in ways that will bless our people during local and regional functions. If you are one of those people, don't hold back. Help us develop a phenomenal music and worship ministry! Donate your time and talent to the Lord!
